Staff Visual Designer (Finance)
NI is looking for designers who are passionate about user interfaces, creativity and pixel-precise detail. This position requires great communication skills, excellent design intuition, a passion for creating exquisitely detailed designs, and a fluent understanding of how visual design translates to the screen. Visual Designers are responsible for a range of deliverables including conceptual designs, production level graphics, and iconography for desktop PC, Mac, and mobile platforms. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field
• Proficient in Figma and Adobe Illustrator
• Illustration competence
• A portfolio in iconography
• Comprehensive design and image building skills
• The ability to visually analyze form and simplify into appealing visual concepts
• Ability to effectively manage time across multiple projects and multiple teams
• Strong communication skills (both oral and written)
Preferred
• Sketching/Painting capabilities
• At least 1 year of experience designing applications for desktop, web, or touch
• Familiarity with educational, scientific, technical, or engineering products
• Experience with XAML and WPF
