Oklahoma City Branch Executive (Project Management)
Position Summary:
The Oklahoma City Branch Executive is the primary representative of the Bank to the public in the state of Oklahoma, leading public engagement in the state and facilitating the branch's Board of Directors.
They oversee the Division's regional research staff at the Oklahoma City Branch and develops and leads research programs supporting the Bank's regional analysis.
Serve as the coordinating leader of Oklahoma City branch office activities and provide branch office perspective to the Bank's senior management, with input from other local management
This leader reports to the Executive Vice President and Director of Research.
Primary Objectives:
Provides leadership for, and engages in, the attraction, development and retention of a high caliber team. Fosters a work culture that promotes a high performing, inclusive and team-oriented environment.
Leads regional economics staff at the Oklahoma City Branch in the development of research agendas, policy advice, survey design and management, and speech writing, and consults with the president and director of research on the development and articulation of policy positions.
Provides advice to the Bank's president on regional economic policy issues; briefs the Bank's board of directors and other key stakeholders on economic developments. Is a key conduit of economic information and analysis from Oklahoma to the president and director of research.
Manages and facilitates the Board of Directors of the Oklahoma City Branch, including director recruitment and engagement. Also helps recruit business and community leaders to the Bank's Districtwide advisory councils.
Advances thought leadership and promotes deeper understanding of regional economic issues important to the Bank through leadership of the Bank's research publications, research conferences and symposiums, and various public programs.
Develops a broad network of community and business leaders in order to gather timely economic information and build trust and confidence in the Kansas City Fed and Federal Reserve System
Encourages public understanding of the Bank and its missions through speeches and presentations at events sponsored by the Bank and other organizations.
Supports Oklahoma City branch environment and culture through employee communications and programs, coordinating closely with other local leaders.

Drives strategic thought leadership within the research teams and influences System initiatives.
Secondary Objectives:
Actively contributes to the Bank's leadership initiatives including strategic planning, goals and objectives setting, policy development, DEI and cultural initiatives, and organizational level workforce development, mentorship, and succession.
Effectively manages the business line's financial resources according to budget and policy guidelines. Assesses business needs in conjunction with resource limitations, ensuring resources are allocated strategically and correctly to meet demands.
Effectively collaborates with internal and external stakeholders, building relationships of trust and mutual respect.
Qualifications
Possesses strong leadership abilities and has demonstrated proficiency in the Bank's core values (Integrity, Service and Personal Growth and Development) and leadership competencies (Model the Way, Challenge the Process, Enable Others to Act, Encourage the Heart, and Inspire a Shared Vision).

Strong relationship management skills. Demonstrated experience working collaboratively across internal and external organizations to build relationships and influence key constituents, including senior executives.
Master's degree in economics or related field required; Ph.D. in Economics preferred. At least three years of leadership experience required. Ten years preferred.
Additional Information:
Location: Oklahoma City, OK. Hybrid, 50% of the time.
