The Supply Chain Manager is a newly created, transformative role within Lockes Strategic Finance Organization, designed to evolve supply chain operations into a strategic, integrated function. This position reflects Lockes commitment to scaling its operations and offers a unique opportunity to establish best practices, align purchasing and inventory systems with growth objectives, and lead the transformation of Lockes supply chain.
Reporting to the CFO and collaborating with other senior leaders, the Supply Chain Manager will integrate purchasing, inventory, and vendor management with Lockes financial, operational, and customer-focused goals to drive the companys growth to $100M in revenue by 2027. This role ensures supply chain operations are efficient and customer-focused, driving operational excellence and enhancing Lockes reputation for reliability and service.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership
Transform purchasing and inventory management into integrated, strategic functions with standardized procedures, clear workflows, and long-term sourcing strategies.Mentor and lead the supply chain team, fostering accountability, collaboration, and a culture of excellence aligned with Lockes values.Drive $1M in annual cost savings through effective sourcing, inventory optimization, and operational efficiencies.
2. Integrated Supply Chain Management
Develop and execute strategies to align purchasing, inventory, and vendor management with demand forecasts, reducing excess stock and optimizing cash flow.Implement Just-in-Time (JIT) principles and real-time inventory systems to enhance efficiency and cross-functional collaboration.Establish scalable procedures to ensure consistency and resilience across all locations.
3. Vendor and Market Engagement
Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to secure competitive pricing and reliable supply chains.Conduct regular vendor performance reviews and represent Locke at key industry events to monitor trends and strengthen partnerships.
4. Operational Excellence and Risk Management
Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, ensuring continuity and resilience during market disruptions.Collaborate across teams to develop contingency plans and align supply chain operations with financial and operational goals.Champion customer service excellence, ensuring internal and external stakeholders experience high-quality, timely, and reliable supply chain support.
5. Data-Driven Insights and Innovation
Leverage analytics and KPIs to measure performance, guide decision-making, and drive continuous improvement.Partner with leaders across the organization to implement innovative technologies and processes that enhance efficiency, customer satisfaction, and Lockes brand reputation.

Qualifications
Essential Requirements
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in supply chain transformation.7+ years of experience in strategic purchasing or supply chain management within a dynamic manufacturing environment.5+ years of leadership experience overseeing supply chain or procurement functions, with a proven track record of building high-performing teams and implementing scalable systems.Strong analytical and communication skills to foster cross-functional collaboration and drive strategic initiatives.Passion for developing and implementing best practices in a growing organization, with a focus on operational excellence and teamwork.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel expertise.Experience with ERP or supply chain management software for data-driven decision-making and reporting.Skilled in data analytics to optimize supply chain performance and measure key metrics.
Preferred QualificationsProfessional certifications (e.g., APICS, Six Sigma) reflecting a commitment to supply chain best practices.Spanish language skills are an asset and highly valued for vendor and market engagement.
