Graphic Finishing Trainee (Finance)
2. Demonstrate commitment to safety and perform job duties in accordance with company safety policies and procedures
3. Understand job ticket information to determine quantity, special work instructions, and any other special customer requirements
4. Determine the best manufacturing method to produce product efficiently and effectively
5. Set up die cutter & tooling and operate die cutter
6. Assist other operators on 2 person make-readies
7. Maintain accurate counts (load and total counts)
8. Set up and make-ready of die cut, score, stripping, & blanking tooling if required
9. Pull stock for job-wind and jog stock if needed
10. Operate powered pallet equipment as needed
11. Work throughout die cutting department running equipment as needed
12. Maintain high efficiency according to established rates during operation of the assigned equipment
13. Maintain quality of product produced by monitoring die cutting and creasing and stripping of waste
14. Troubleshoot and make decisions regarding the quality of the finished product
15. Complete required quality inspections and paperwork
16. Work with peers and other departments to improve quality and performance
17. Play an active role in the maintenance and cleanliness of the assigned press and surrounding area
18. Understand department communication systems, schedules, time/attendance system and job reporting requirements
19. Actively participate in lean manufacturing initiatives
20. Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors
**Shifts available are 2nd
**Pay starts at 21.00 an hour. 2nd shift has a 2 dollar shift differential
