Coke Florida is looking for a Supply Chain Planning Specialist based out our Tampa HQ location, working Mon-Fri from 8-5.
What You Will Do:
A supply chain planning specialist ensures timely production and delivery of goods, balancing demand forecasting with inventory management. They collaborate closely with production, procurement, and logistics teams to optimize processes and minimize costs. Continuous improvement is key, analyzing data and implementing enhancements to meet evolving market demands efficiently. Ultimately, they aim to streamline the supply chain, ensuring products reach consumers effectively while maximizing profitability.
Collaboration with Planners: Supply chain planning specialists work closely with planners to develop and execute plans for production, procurement, inventory management, and distribution. Provide valuable insights and analysis to support planners in making informed decisions related to demand forecasting, production scheduling, and inventory optimization. This collaboration ensures alignment between strategic goals and operational activities within the supply chain.
Coordination with Management: Supply chain planning specialists liaise with management to provide regular updates on supply chain performance, key metrics, and potential risks or opportunities. They play a crucial role in presenting recommendations for process improvements, cost-saving initiatives, and strategic investments to management based on data-driven analysis.
Supply chain planning specialists serve as essential intermediaries between planners and management, bridging the gap between strategic objectives and operational execution within the supply chain function. This role involves facilitating communication, providing insights, and driving initiatives to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the supply chain in alignment with organizational goals.

Roles and Responsibilities: Ensures efficient manufacturing operations by developing and optimizing production schedules based on demand forecasts, capacity constraints, and resource availability. Analyze production data, identify bottlenecks, and collaborate with supply chain, operations, and quality teams to improve efficiency and minimize downtime. Utilizing tools like Blue Yonder (JDA) software to streamline scheduling, enhance workflow coordination, and drive continuous process improvements to meet business goals. Optimizing operational efficiency using Blue Yonder (JDA) software by identifying process improvement opportunities, analyzing production data, and conducting capacity analysis to enhance resource utilization. Responsibilities include overseeing Blue Yonder's configuration, maintenance, and optimization, assisting planners with product scheduling, and managing the sanitation matrix by aligning cleaning cycles with production plans to minimize downtime. Provide training and support to end-users, troubleshooting system issues, and maintaining comprehensive documentation to ensure seamless operations. Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs), workflow diagrams, and training materials to ensure consistency and compliance across the Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Finance, production, sales, and customer service teams to align supply chain strategies with business objectives. By influencing key decision-makers and fostering a culture of partnership and trust, they can overcome obstacles and drive positive outcomes across the supply chain ecosystem. For this role, you will need: Bachelor's degree 3-5 years of relevant experience in supply chain planning, production, or other relevant work experience may substitute for formal education Previous experience with Supply Chain Planning software and tools such SAP and BlueYonder Strong analytical experience Experience with forecasting and planning required Previous project management experience highly desired Excellent communication, both written and verbal Change agent who thrives in a fast pace, ever changing environment Consumer goods and Beverage Industry knowledge is desired Customer focused Additional qualifications that will make you successful in this role: Strong Experience with MS Office Suite and Data Analytic skills (Pivot Tables, VLookups, Power BI and SQL) for performance tracking and reporting Previous experience with JDA Strong negotiation, collaboration, and analytical skills
