Respiratory Therapy Coordinator (Healthcare)

Respiratory Therapy Coordinator;

Plan, implement and develop an effective respiratory program to help patient's progress, improve clinical outcomes, provide intervention for acute respiratory symptoms and audit regularly to ensure proper documentation supports clinical care.

Clinical Oversight:

Reviewing patient charts, ensuring appropriate respiratory therapy interventions are implemented, monitoring patient progress, and identifying potential complications.

Therapy and medication:

Provide daily therapy as part of the respiratory program, assess and submit daily progress notes in addition to administering breathing treatments, monitoring and providing education to our patients.

Education:

Provide ongoing education to nursing staff on new procedures, protocols, and clinical updates.

Collaboration with other healthcare teams:

Communicating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to coordinate patient care plans and ensure smooth transitions.

Attend team meetings to discuss patient needs, expected adjustments to care, workload and possible training for staff.
