As a Director, Data Analytics, you will join a team of change agents who specialize in ensuring that data is secure and protected, accessible, understood, of known quality, and can be effectively used in support of business goals. You will consult with business stakeholders to understand business needs/challenges and deliver actionable analytics/insights solutions. Engage with business to answer targeted analytical questions and generate insights from data. Analyze large data sets (structured, unstructured) to identify insights and patterns/trends using a variety of analytical techniques (descriptive, diagnostic, prescriptive). Develop presentations and other deliverables to synthesize and communicate key insights and advise with recommendations to drive business outcomes. In addition to deep analytical expertise, you will bring excellent problem solving, communication and teamwork skills, along with agile ways of working, strong business insight, an inclusive leadership attitude and a continuous learning focus to all that you do.
Here is what you can expect on a typical day :
Deliver and execute on vision and strategy and communicate success stories effectively to key stakeholders, the team, and enterprise. Identify and advise on opportunities to leverage data analytics solutions in existing portfolio and expand in new areas to drive significant business outcomes. Consult and communicate effectively and consistently with business partners to proactively identify needs, prioritize, and deliver solutions
Demonstrates thought leadership and expertise across Data Analytics disciplines. Present solutions and influence executive leadership from different business units and functions to generate excitement and gain consensus.
Develop and oversee initiative/program roadmaps ensuring that measurable OKR's, milestones, resource plans (human and technical), and ROIs that represent ongoing impact and value. Deliver a portfolio of initiatives ensuring the strategic direction and outcomes of the businesses are reflected in the execution of these initiatives
Understand the data and insights consumption patterns and develop best in class solutions across the enterprise. Ensure customer-driven solutions & usability test results, while leveraging industry knowledge. Identify new tools and techniques to solve complex business challenges.
Identify, hire, train, and retain talent with critical technical and business experience required to execute each initiative/capability. Develop/maintain/motivate a high performing team

Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $148,800.00 to $201,200.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
