Regional Sales Manager - Marlborough, MA (Project Management)
Position Summary
Perform functions to manage sales activities and expenses within assigned region, supervise regional sales and sales support employees, and coordinate activities to support sales initiatives.

Essential Job Responsibilities
1. Forecast sales, suggest proper inventory levels as appropriate and assign sales personnel to develop accounts, establish territorial sales quotas. Review territory and region sales orders received, , product quantities, and distributor sales.
2. Assign and realign territories as required with approval of vice president.
3. Manage regional metrology center activities and expenses.
4. Review and approve call and expense reports of subordinates.
5. Make sales calls to maintain sales and business relationships with house accounts and Distribution.
6. Direct sales personnel to develop target accounts and specific product lines.
7. Assist regional sales personnel in establishing distribution for various product groups.
8. Conduct regional sales meetings and product training sessions as necessary.
9. Supervise distribution and use of catalogs and literature in region.
10. Distribute and follow up on advertising leads.
11. Call on distributors and end users with other Mitutoyo America sales personnel.
12. Review accounts receivable in association with credit manager, and assist in collection of delinquent accounts.
13. Prepare and submit required reports in a timely manner.
14. Participate in Mitutoyo America and distributor trade shows.
15. Keep informed of Mitutoyo America products, market trends, and competitor activities.
16. Maintain and update CRM tool.
17. Review Document, Maintain Employee performance.
18. Regional evaluation of distribution and recommend to senior leadership regional budget.
19. Develop, support, and execute regional sales plan.

Physical Demands: The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
Additional Requirements: Valid Driver's License.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position.
Monday – Friday 8:30AM-5:00PM
Travel: Travel up to 75%. Driving up to 5 hours per day.
Required Education and Experience: Education equivalent of four years' of college; Five years' experience.
