Accountant (Finance)
•
1. Maintain customer master database in Oracle ERP system, interfacing with Customer Relations team to verify accuracy of provided information
2. Enter daily billings into customer 3 rd party payment sites and resolve any issues preventing processing
3. Perform balance sheet account reconciliations and investigate/resolve account discrepancies
4. Prepare and post journal entries into ERP systems, preparing proper support, documentation, and approval for all journal entries.
5. Actively participate in the monthly close process, which requires working under time sensitive deadlines
6. Provide quarterly and year-end reporting schedules, memo statistics and balance sheet review commentary
7. Interface with internal/external audit, business management, controllers, and SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission) reporting teams
8. Perform peer Sox testing
9. Assist with annual physical inventory accounting processes
10. Perform financial analysis, exercising sound judgement, as well as, knowledge and understanding of GAAP
11. Cross-train on other general accounting tasks within the team as needed to provide coverage during absences
12. Other duties as assigned• Bachelors Accounting, Finance, or equivalent degree
• 3 years of general accounting experience
• 1 of that being in accounts receivable or customer collections
• The individual must be able to articulately communicate with various levels of the company both within and outside the financial organization.

• Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
• Develop new tools to improve processes and perform cost and financial analysis for company operating units.

• This role will be responsible for supporting entities in the US and internationally as we continue to grow as an organization both through acquisitions and organic growth.
• Microsoft Excel and Word proficiency
• Oracle EBS experience preferred
