SUMMARY The BSA Analyst will support the Banks Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter Financing of Terrorism (CFT) program by adhering to policies, procedures, and controls, as well as assist in the detection and prevention of money laundering and suspicious activity. The BSA Analyst will be responsible for conducting AML reviews and investigations as well as ensure all BSA reportable transactions are accurately recorded. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Prepare and submit regulatory reports, including Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs) and Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs), in a timely and accurate manner. Gather Monetary Instrument form documentation and ensure appropriate transactions are logged according to BSA policy. Review alerts generated from STCs transaction monitoring system and escalate concerning activity for case review. Review government watchlist alerts for possible matches and escalate as appropriate. Conduct continuing activity investigations. Conduct enhanced due diligence reviews on high-risk customers. Analyze transaction activity for various product types periodically for potential suspicious activity. Stay informed about changes in BSA/AML/CFT laws, regulations and industry trends and adhere to BSA policy. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This job has no supervisory responsibilities. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelors degree in Finance, Business Administration or related field. Minimum 1-3 years of experience within the banking or financial services industry. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
