Follow general direction and perform other duties as assigned by the Early Childhood Director or Designee. Ensure YMCA and Health Department and CACFP policies and guidelines are followed at all times. Prepare, and implement standardized association menus for lunch/snacks per YMCA HEPA and government reimbursement Child and Adult Care Food Program guidelines. Meet the training requirements set forth the YMCA and State Regulators Participate as an active member on the Association Dietary Technicians Ad Hoc Committee Compile and order food and dietary supplies per guidelines and budget Maintain accurate records and reports Coordinate snacks/meals for special events, meetings etc. Utilize sound judgment and discretionary skills in accordance with the Gateway Region YMCA policies. Maintain positive relationships with many diverse people, including staff, parents, volunteers and program site administration and demonstrate strong public relation skills. Ensure YMCA policies and guidelines are followed at all times. Maintain an environment that ensures children's safety and well-being. Ensure zero tolerance for abuse and actively participate in the protection of youth and teens. Performs all other duties assigned.
