RION Equipment is looking for a field service mechanic for the forklift/rail equipment to perform field service and repairs on the customer's forklift, railcar mover, and material handling equipment. As a Field Service Mechanic - Forklift / Rail Equipment you'll primarily be working independently driving a company-provided service vehicle to the customer's place of operations, but you'll always have the support of the entire RION Equipment team. You'll work at the shop when you're not working in the field.

FIELD SERVICE MECHANIC - FORKLIFT / RAIL EQUIPMENT PRIMARY JOB DUTIES:
- Remove, install, repair, disassemble, assemble, and perform failure analysis of all forklift, railcar mover, and material handling equipment including engines, attachments, electrical systems, hydraulics, transmissions, power train, brakes, steering, and electronic and computer applications.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair most types and brands of lifts
- Read and understand schematics for electrical and hydraulic systems
- Perform proper preventative maintenance on time
- Work in a variety of customer locations and industry environments
