Medicaid and Tuition Billing Assistant (Finance)
Essential Functions
• Enter Medicaid billing/claims in Millin Software according to OPWDD guidelines.
• Assist with communicating with community service program staff to ensure proper documentation for our individuals in our residencies.
• Record revenue in Sage lntacct financial system.
• Posting monthly cash receipts and record payments in Accounts Receivable
• Quarterly reconciliation of revenue billed based on Medicaid rates to general revenue accounts.
• Assist Monthly review of Accounts Receivable aging report
• Assist Managing social security payments for residents in Community Service programs.
• Assist and be primary Back up for Tuition and Evaluation Billing
Secondary Functions
• General Accounting - Assists with journal entries, AP adjustments, accruals, schedules and month end closing procedures
• Assist in annual financial audit
• Ad-Hoc Projects as assigned
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business or related field is required
Experience
3 year of experience in billing and accounts receivable. Experience with Medicaid billing a plus.
