- High school diploma or equivalent GED.
- Minimum six months experience.

Howmet Structure Systems has an immediate opening for a night shift Material Handler located at our Martinsville facility.
SUMMARY
Responsible for moving and placing parts and materials ready for processing and storage.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: This is not intended as a comprehensive list; it is intended to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities. - Fill in as grind operator as needed.
- Remove, weigh, and inspect pieces.
- Loads and unloads trucks.
- Set up parts in designated areas to prepare for processing.
- Identifies and ensures that the correct parts are placed in the designated order
- Assists machine operators with general duties as requested to support the smooth operation of the machines
- Reports any problems observed to supervisor whether they are related to storage and placing of parts or machine malfunctions, etc
- Produces daily production reports as directed by supervisor
- Must have understanding and knowledge of company procedures and work instructions.
- Maintains a safe and organized workstation and follows all company policy, safety and procedures.
