Manufacturing Supervisor - (Nights - B Shift) (Manufacturing)

Lonza is seeking a career Biotechnologist to supervise a team of manufacturing associates here in Portsmouth, NH on the night shift.
The night shift schedule is from 7pm-7am, on a rotational schedule every other week:
Week 1: M/T/F/SAT/SUN
Week 2: W/TH
Key responsibilities:
Coordinate a team of 6-9 Manufacturing Associates, ensuring flawless adherence to the production schedule and GMP standards.
Manage performance and support career development, encouraging an environment of growth and excellence.
Coordinate GMP operations, including equipment operation, production process monitoring, and large/small scale media and buffer preparations.
Ensure seamless communication between Upstream and Downstream suites to maintain the overall production schedule.
Review electronic documents in compliance with good documentation practices (GDPs).
Develop and maintain training plans for all direct reports, ensuring the shift is fully equipped to meet operational demands.
Maintain the facility and equipment in an audit-ready status at all times and support 6S programs.
Participate in shift exchanges, meetings, and projects as required to ensure smooth operation.
Key requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent required; AS/BS in a science-related field preferred.
5-8 years of experience in biotechnology manufacturing.
Shown ability to make sound decisions, think critically, and effectively troubleshoot complex situations.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing business priorities and actively seek feedback to improve performance.
Excellent people skills, with the ability to encourage individuals while promoting collaboration and a positive environment.
