Accounts Receivable Coordinator (Administrative)
Position summary
As an Accounts Receivable Coordinator you provide financial, clerical and administrative services to ensure efficient, timely and accurate maintenance of accounts and collections under your portfolio.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for updating the patient information and handling all third party billing appropriately.Reviews and analyzes cash collections for each assigned community, and understands variances, and opportunities for improving community collections.Identify a list of all delinquent accounts and organize, research and prioritize appropriately.Call customers directly with delinquent accounts to inform of overdue accounts and amount owed. Attempt to collect payments on every encounter.Send statements to customers/residents/patients.Post all cash receipts, discounts and allowances to customer accounts timely and accurately.Reconcile residents accounts.
