Project Manager Intern - Communications (Finance)
Overview
We are seeking a full-time Project Manager Intern - Communications in our Olathe, KS location. In this role, you will be responsible for serving in a highly organized supporting role in the execution of advertising initiatives, in a fast-paced environment, while having excellent oral and written communication skills.
Essential Functions
- Support the execution of day-to-day project management duties, assisting with requests for various advertising materials, including print and digital ads, emails, and event support materials
- Work closely with project management team to review work in development, route materials for account/client review and share feedback with internal creative teams
- Foster positive relationships with the Account Managers and Creative Team members through professional/timely communications
- Develop understanding of project management process/procedures
- Must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or a related field
- Excellent academics (cumulative GPA greater than or equal to 3.0 as a general rule)
- Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrated proficiency in word processing and database programs
- Must be team-oriented, possess a positive attitude and work well with others
- Ability to prioritize/multi-task in a flexible, fast paced and challenging environment
- Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
