Systems & Database Infrastructure Services
The Database Administration team is responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's critical Oracle databases, both on-premise and in the cloud. This includes activities such as performance tuning, security management, data backup and recovery, capacity planning, and ensuring data integrity and availability. The team plays a key role in providing support to various groups on campus and also manages a few cross-functional applications for reporting, automation, enterprise resource planning, among others.
Position Summary:
The Business Automation Developer will work to create an Automation CoE and develop and support low-code technology solutions to improve and transform business processes for the University community.
The ideal candidate will work with Business Systems Analysts and process owners to define requirements and be responsible for the design, development, testing and implementation of automations using principles that are efficient, well-structured, documented, and easy to understand.

Workplace Requirements
This position is offered as a hybrid role, combining both in-office and remote work to provide flexibility and support collaboration. This position is onsite a minimum of 2 days per week. Per Rice policy 440 , work arrangements may be subject to change.
This is a full-time, benefits-eligible position, and the proposed salary range is $95,900 - $122,400 annually, depending on qualifications and experience. Exempt (salaried) positions under FLSA are not eligible for overtime.
