A survey was conducted with our staff on why they enjoy working within the Family Based Mental Health program and some of their responses included the following:
I love working with diverse clients. No day is ever the same and I can make my own schedule. The program is rooted in a model I believe in and provides strong professional development in that model. I really enjoy the support of great co-workers and supervisors.
I absolutely love working in the Family Based Mental Health Program because I wholeheartedly believe in our model and know that we bring immense value to the community. It's incredibly fulfilling to be a part of something so meaningful. I also cherish being a scholar and the opportunity to collaborate with such brilliant minds. It's inspiring to engage with colleagues who challenge my thoughts, yet also listen and appreciate the value in what I contribute. This dynamic environment keeps me motivated and passionate about our work.
I really like how everyone in Family Based supports one another. The power of comradery to uplift and support never cees to amaze me.
Our program is attentive to the contextual needs of all clinicians and consistent with Sanctuary and structural frameworks. There is flexibility to create our own schedules to create life-work balance in this tough work we are called to.
I love the flexible schedule, getting to drive around to allow for decompression between sessions, and the supportive co-workers and environment.
There's a lot of exploration of systems and systems thinking and time devoted to continuing education. Flexible schedule can be challenging but I rarely work a Friday and have space for my life outside of work.
As a long tenured employee, I have been here for the many challenges this agency has overcome and the continuous transitions that continue to occur within. I appreciate the direction that Glade Run continues to evolve and grow for the future.
I have watched this program evolve over the past several years that I have worked in it and feel that my coworkers are like family. We are a small group, but all support each other. I truly enjoy working in the program.
