DESCRIPTION
Michael Baker International is looking for a well-rounded Technical Manager - Traffic. This position will be a key member of our engineering and planning team in our Milwaukee, WI office and within the Great Lakes Region. Candidates for this position should have a background in traffic engineering with an emphasis on Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) and communication systems. The successful candidate should have experience with work zone traffic control, signing, pavement marking, traffic signal plans, and intelligent transportation systems. The individual should have design and/or post-design experience for ITS deployments such as Dynamic Message Signs, tolling systems, radar detection systems, CCTV cameras, adaptive traffic signals, tolling systems design and specifications, and fiber optic and wireless communication systems including familiarity with ITS design standards. You will leverage your engineering knowledge and skills to lead/manage the preparation of engineering plans, reports, technical specifications, perform highway capacity analysis and prepare construction estimates and schedules for local and regional projects. You will have the opportunity to instruct and guide less experienced engineers in developing engineering plans, reports, and analyses. The Technical Manager - Traffic will utilize their knowledge and skills to support our project teams in delivery of projects through planning and design.

The approximate compensation range for this position is $120,818 to $188,704. This compensation range is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
