Pepsi Bottling Ventures is seeking a PART-TIME MERCAHNDISER to join our team in Wilmington, NC

We make, sell, and distribute PepsiCo and more beverages. We have the exclusive rights to make, sell, and distribute directly to stores in our territory the world-renowned PepsiCo and Keurig Dr. Pepper beverages. These exclusive rights make up the vast majority of our business and cover certain counties across five states.

We also create our own beverages, producing and distributing them to our customers' warehouses nationally. And we make, sell, and distribute to our customers' warehouses a growing portfolio of beverages nationally. These beverages make up a small, but growing part of our business.

PART-TIME MERCHANDISER Role Overview

Merchandises products, which include stocking shelves, rotating shelved product, setting up displays, cooler stocking/rotation, storage room organization, and movement of products from storage to the sales floor.

Key Priorities

Mental Functions:

Repetitive job requires frequent, but nor more than normal mental or visual effort or alertness.

Physical Functions:

Constantly (67%-100%) required to stand, lift up to 85 pounds, load, and push/pull 300 - 2400 pounds with the assistance of a pallet jack; as well as bend, reach and squat while merchandising and moving products. Frequently (34%-66%) required to walk. Occasionally (0%-33%) required to sit.

Equipment Used:

Vehicle, hand truck, store floats, pallet jacks, label guns, telephone, calculator, Point of Purchase materials, computer reports, cardboard bailers, various types of vending equipment, and general office equipment.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

None required.

Language Skills:

Must be able to speak, read, and comprehend English.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Merchandises store shelving, coolers, and displays with Pepsi products in accounts assigned by a supervisor.
• Maintains backroom stock in a neat and orderly condition.
• Communicates issues to supervisor and co-workers.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Retail industry work experience preferred.
• High School Diploma preferred.
• Must have the ability to adapt to a constantly-changing environment.
• Customer service skills required.
• Must have good oral and written communication skills.
• Must have good math skills.
• Must be able to work under pressure.
• Must have good interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to work under pressure and without direct supervision.
• Must have good driving habits.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Must be able to meet PBV driving qualifications.
• Must be able to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks.

Compensation and Benefits

• We offer competitive wages starting at $17/hour
