Sr Financial Analyst, Corporate (Finance)
Supports the global FP&A team and operations to analyze, forecast, and budget full P&L and metrics to all Americold stakeholders (approximately 240+ warehouses globally), with primary focus on North American operations (~200 sites, ~$2 billion in revenue). Gathers financial and operational data, performs analyses and helps to draw conclusions based on that data, and prepares appropriate and relevant reports and presentations to executives.
What You'll Do :
• Assists in the month end close process for internal and external reporting. Developing analytics to research and review financial results for select business segments to drive operational performance.
• Provide support to regional teams for reoccurring forecasts, as well as annual operating budget for domestic facilities. This includes loading data to EPM, validating for continued improvement, developing reporting for total domestic results and compiling final product into presentation format.
• Develops procedures, templates, and general support to various business partners to ease budget processes while also hitting key deadlines.
• Assists in the preparation of management reports summarizing operational results for the period, including both financial and non-financial data, and assists in developing slides for executive presentations as needed or as requested.
• Works with and partners within numerous corporate functions to drive value add projects, strategic initiatives, and business cases and partners with other functional departments on assigned projects as necessary.
• Performs other ad-hoc projects and duties as assigned to support various departments.
What Experience and Education You Need :
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
• 3-5 years of experience in a Finance function (Finance, Accounting/Reporting, Treasury, Business Analysis)
• Strong business acumen and executive presence.
• Experience with financial and business intelligence systems such as SAP, Oracle, BPC, Hyperion, etc. a plus, but not required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong team player and able to collaborate very effectively in a highly matrixed organization
• Self-starter with exceptional ability to identify and solve problems
