Systems Architect (Information Technology)
What you will do:
The Systems Architect will lead the design, development, and integration of advanced energy storage systems, including Lithium-Ion (Li-Ion) battery packs and ultra-capacitor systems, for low-voltage (12V-48V) automotive applications. As the Battery System Architect, you will play a pivotal role in defining system-level requirements and developing robust architectures. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, electrical, electro-chemical, and software engineers, to deliver safe, reliable, and high-performance energy storage solutions that meet OEM requirements.
How you will do it:
Evaluate requirements set against feasibility and optimization parameters
Refine performance and design constraint requirements
Manage requirements cascading to engineering disciplines and subsystems
Allocate performance and other limiting requirements to all functional levels
Define system architecture with interfaces of components and engineering disciplines
Define engineering team subsystem and component ownership through system architecture
Define alternate systems concepts
Select preferred system solution
Integrate design work from engineering disciplines
What we look for:
Required:
BS, MS degree in related technical field - or equivalent experience
10+ years of professional engineering experience in related field
OE Automotive/Tier 1 experience with powertrain systems/components is highly desired
Experience with EV/HEV battery systems is desired
Preferred:
Experience with automotive software validation process is desired
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively across disciplines.
Solid communication and organizational skills
Proactive mindset with the ability to adapt to fast-paced and evolving environments
