LB&B Associates Inc. is currently seeking a Heavy Diesel Mechanic for our contract in Norfolk, VA (U.S. Navy Base). Working Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:00am-4:00pm/On call if required. Hourly pay rate: $28.07 per hour. Health and Welfare Hourly Pay $5.36 per hour (Up to 40 hours per week). Must have a minimum of 2 years experience. Qualifications/Experience/Responsibilities: Perform maintenance and repairs of electrical, diesel, mechanical, and hydraulic vehicles and equipment with limited or no supervision. The ability to operate heavy equipment, equipment will include, but is not limited to tractors, mowers, refueling vehicles, snow removal, equipment, weed eaters, and blowers. Troubleshoot, repair, and complete preventive/corrective maintenance on refueling vehicles, electrical, mechanical, pumping and brake systems. Respond to emergency service calls for vehicles and equipment. Keep maintenance facility and its equipment always clean and serviceable. Report all deficiencies to management.
