Essential Job Functions
Enhance the dining experience by serving meals to residents and offering assistance with eating and drinking when needed. Promote well-being and dignity through assisting with bathing, grooming, and dressing. Foster mobility and comfort by repositioning, turning bedridden residents, and aiding those who require assistance in walking or wheelchair transport. Uphold a clean and hygienic environment, ensuring rooms are sterile, and taking care of bedding and bedpans. Champion residents' health by recording vital signs, eating habits, and bodily functions, promptly reporting any changes to the medical team. Ensure seamless healthcare delivery by efficiently transporting medical equipment as per patient requirements. Demonstrate commitment as a CNA by adhering to scheduled work hours, providing consistency for residents and the team. Exhibit strong organizational skills and the ability to manage your workload effectively in a dynamic environment, often taking independent actions. Cultivate a supportive atmosphere through excellent communication with residents and families, prioritizing customer service. Maintain a calm and warm working environment with your team, fostering a positive and collaborative atmosphere. Meet the physical demands of the job, ensuring you can perform the tasks required. Provide "on-call" support to nursing staff as per the schedule determined by the administrator, ensuring continuous care delivery.

Requirements and Qualifications
High School degree or equivalent (GED) preferred. Completion of a state-approved CNA education and training program to kickstart your rewarding healthcare journey. Embrace the role with CNA certification. Stay equipped with life-saving skills by obtaining and maintaining CPR certification. Be the guardian of care with a DPS Fingerprint Clearance Card. Dive into the world of medical terminology, enhancing your knowledge and expertise. Shine with a high level of patience, empathy, and compassion in every interaction. Hone your skills in observation and communication, making a positive impact every day. Handle essential record-keeping and utilize basic computer skills, contributing to effective care.
