The Impact You'll Make in this Role
As the Global Director of Operational technology in Solventum, you will be responsible for ensuring that the Operational Technology and Digitization in Supply Chain are aligned with the business goals, industry standards, and best practices. This role is a great opportunity for a talented, experienced and motivated leader to lead an important and meaningful transformation at Solventum reporting to Vice President of Digitization of Supply Chain. This leader will be pivotal in driving digital transformation of manufacturing processes, focusing on industry 4.0 solution to drive manufacturing digital thread, enhancing operational efficiencies/productivity, cost effectiveness and quality excellence.
This role requires strong understanding of operational infrastructure, manufacturing applications. industrial automation connectivity, SCADA, real time data architecture, industrial analytics, network optimization and security. The Operational Technology leader will work collaboratively with cross functional teams within Manufacturing, IT, Engineering, Quality, CI and Digital Teams across the globe. The leader will implement best practices, digital standardization and OT architecture across Solventum.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Lead and Execute digitalization strategy across all the plants and distribution centers to align with business goals to drive factory of future vision. Work closely with plant leadership, and functional leadership to identify, prioritize and implement use cases to find opportunities and deliver impact in line with Solventum objectives. Drive technology standardization, system selection, manufacturing data architecture, and network design to enable data driven decision making. Architect, Design and manage interconnectivity between plant infrastructure like Robots/PLC/Automated systems, OT application like SCADA/SPC/MES/Historian and IT applications ERP/QMS/PLM ensuring low data latency and high system availability Drive the use of effective data driven visualization management techniques for manufacturing KPIs like OEE, SPC, Day by the hour/Win the hour, productivity/throughput, FPY, capacity utilization, scrap etc. Provide strong program/project management leadership to drive active prioritization of use cases, on-time/on-budget execution and effective change management for adoption of technologies. Build knowledge and capability in Operational Technologies, IIOT, Manufacturing Intelligence, Digital Thread and processes in emerging technologies as well as improvements to existing investments by keeping abreast of industry trends and subject matter expertise in usage of new trends Develop digital talent within the team and digital literacy across the organization to supercharge data driven design making Cross collaborate with Manufacturing plants, IT, Engineering and leadership team to drive execution excellence, provide sustenance for high plant uptime and security Lead, inspire and coach a team of talented individuals in a fast-paced environment while championing the Solventum culture.

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $222,044 - $271,387, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
