Xanitos is hiring a Weekend Part Time Environmental Service Call Center Dispatcher for Mid Shift 11am to 7:30pm at City of Hope in Duarte, CA.

Directs the activity of the discharge bed cleaning function, ensuring timely completion of tasks; monitors procedures related to availability and completion task, follows-up on issues related to service and operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Demonstrates and promotes Xanitos culture, values, and management philosophy in conjunction with the facility.
- Proactive in the achievement of the departmental goals and objectives.
- Exhibits excellent telephone etiquette and listening skills.
- Maintains a safe, healthy, orderly and pleasant work environment for staff.
- Understands and applies knowledge of housekeeping concepts and infection control practices.
- Understands and is able to determine, explain and develop dispatcher logic and housekeepers' activities.
- Directs the activity of the discharge bed cleaning function, ensuring timely completion of tasks; monitors procedures related to availability and completion task, follows-up on issues related to service and operations.
- Ensures requests have been completed in an efficient and timely manner according to current departmental standards and priorities.
- Functions as a liaison between Environmental Services and other departments.
- Develops and promotes positive effective customer service relations with departmental staff, and all hospital employees; ensures accurate and timely dispatch of discharge bed requests; ensures maximum staff productivity.
- Resolves problems related to or associated with patient through-put; recommends and participates in the solution of on-going problems or trends.
- Acts as a positive role model; possesses integrity, focus, commitment, flexibility, diplomacy and a team spirit. Is reliable and trustworthy.
Job Qualifications:
- Successful applicants for this position must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of employment.
- Experience in the janitorial industry a plus
- Medical cleaning a plus
- Post-Offer Medical, Background Screening and Drug Test required
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent required.
