Sr. Director of Sales Walmart/Sam's Club (Sales)
Develop and execute strategies to build and grow the business with Walmart and Sam's Club, ensuring alignment with internal goals and market conditions.
Leverage established relationships with Walmart and Sam's Club leadership to advocate for brand and product positioning and growth opportunities.
Drive eCommerce growth, utilizing expertise in online retail strategies, including digital marketing, marketplace management, and DTC initiatives.
Maintain a strong understanding of the competitive landscape and market trends to identify areas for strategic advantage.
Foster a strong company culture and entrepreneurial drive within the team, emphasizing urgency, teamwork, and willingness to go the extra mile to ensure success.
Promotional Planning:
Lead the development, presentation, and execution of the brand promotional plan, ensuring it is aligned with key business objectives.
Improve the execution of distribution, new item introductions, schematic implementations, and promotional plans.
Partner with sales and marketing teams to refine and optimize forecasting and channel strategies, ensuring maximum impact and ROI.
Analytical Reporting:
Prepare and deliver timely, structured, and actionable analytical reports that provide internal teams and brand partners with critical business insights.
Conduct regular store audits to ensure merchandising standards and promotional programming are being executed effectively.
Collaborate with internal teams to track and manage promotional spending and accrual funds, ensuring optimal trade spend levels to maximize profitability.
Work with management to implement solutions and processes that support analytical and reporting needs, while identifying key business patterns and anomalies.
Drive operational efficiency and growth through innovative thinking, process improvements, data manipulation, and system enhancements.
People Management:
Provide leadership and create a culture that motivates and supports all team members, ensuring alignment with company values and objectives.
Effectively lead and develop team members, identify knowledge gaps, and create development plans to support their growth.
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, ensuring clear communication, strategic alignment, and execution of business goals.
Qualifications:
5-10 years of proven success in managing and growing Walmart and Sam's Club business, with demonstrated experience in both brand and private label management.
Established relationships with Walmart and Sam's Club leadership teams.
Experience in eCommerce growth and digital retail strategies.
A strong understanding of promotional planning, category management, innovation, and market trends.
Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to present complex data in an actionable manner.
A strong entrepreneurial mindset, with a focus on urgency, creativity, and continuous improvement.
Proven ability to thrive in a team environment, work collaboratively, and drive success across functions.
Ability to work flexible hours and travel to Bentonville on a weekly basis (if not based locally).
Previous experience with merchandising standards, forecasting, and trade spending management.
Advanced knowledge of retail management systems and category management processes.
Bachelor's degree in business, Sales, or a related field is preferred.
Willingness to travel (50-75%)
Previous key account experience strongly preferred
Strong knowledge of the overall coffee category and its retail consumers.
Experience with sales data writing, reporting, and analysis.
Experience with Nationally syndicated national account sales data and /CRM software.
Skilled in data analysis tools such as Excel is required & Power Bi is preferred.
Detail-oriented mindset.

Travel 50-75% with the rest of the week spent working out of the Bentonville, AR area. Occasional travel to our Little Chute, WI headquarters.
