SUMMARY
Responsible for administration and coordination of the Stockroom, Shipping and Receiving
teams and processes. Maintains performance and output; monitors results.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develops, motivates, and challenges the stockroom and/or shipping and/or receiving
teams.
• Acts as point of contact for issues related to holds, QN's, receiving issues (corrections of
OSP, receiving reversals, RMA reversals, etc.), shippers and deliveries, part
discrepancies, and shortages.
• Supports Manufacturing, Purchasing and Stockroom with all Receiving related issues.
• Ensures that only current, accurate and authorized documentation is in use and
participates in creating or editing documentation relative to receiving, stockroom and
shipping.
• Provides meaningful and timely feedback on employees' performance including
completing and conducting annual performance appraisals in a timely manner.
• Ensures employees are trained to perform the operations they have been assigned and
that they have the equipment they need to perform those tasks .
• Ensures training activities are documented as required.
• Maintains a clean and safe work area following 5s guidelines .
• Conducts safety inspections in Receiving .
• Develops, motivates and drives individuals and teams to continuously improve key
operational metrics and achieve individual, team, departmental and organizational goals.
• Monitor employees' compliance to the attendance policy, taking corrective action when
necessary.
• Monitors compliance to Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) work hours guidelines by
monitoring employees' overtime, taking corrective action when necessary .
• Reviews and approves/denies paid time off (PTO) requests based on staffing
requirements
• Updates metrics and supports root cause analysis.
• Covers for absent employees in relevant department (Stockroom, Shipping or
Receiving).

• Works safely at all times and complies with Environmental Health and Safety standards
and work practices along with all other work rules
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• High school diploma OR equivalent AND a minimum of 3 years relevant work experience
• Reading, writing, and math skills (i.e. 12th grade level)
• Understanding of SAP Shipping and/or Receiving and/or Stockroom
• Solid understanding of material handling processes
• Advanced understanding of SAP functions related to material handling
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to deal with tight, rapidly changing deadlines
• Advanced PC skills
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
• May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time
• Frequently required to walk, bend, and lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Close vision for extensive use of computer monitor
• Safety glasses and steel toed shoes required on manufacturing floor and in shipping,
receiving and stockroom areas.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work area and workstation are in the Receiving, Shipping, Stockroom or Warehouse area with
some time spent each day on the manufacturing floor.
The noise level in the work environment ranges from low to moderate.
Exposure to dirt or dust is moderate.
Temperatures range from cold to hot depending on the season.
