Position Overview:
This position is for a DevSecOps Engineer. You will be working closely with a talented team to deliver a complex software application into operations. In addition, you'll have the opportunity to grow and hone your skills with other talented members at ARKA. Our ideal candidate is a DevSecOps Engineer who is a hard charging self-starter that can come onto a team and begin to produce quickly. You should have a basic understanding of Kubernetes, containerization, automated test, and deployment pipelines.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related engineering field
- 2 years of experience as a System Administrator or DevOps/DevSecOps Engineer
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills and engaging with virtual or remote teams
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Basic knowledge of AWS cloud platform
- Basic knowledge of administration of Linux based operating systems
- Scripting and automation skills (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell, etc)
- Familiarity with cloud security best practices like encryption, access control and identity management
- Understanding of security compliance, cloud security assessments and audits
- Experience with security scanning tools, OS patching, and vulnerability remediation
- IAT Level II or III certification (i.e. CompTIA Security , CISSP, or CASP )
- Active TS/SCI U.S. Government Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of Scrum and Agile software development methodology
- Experience with container tools (Docker, Podman) and container orchestration
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Basic understanding of observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana or similar
Pay Range: $110,000 - $140,000
Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
