Position Summary: Duties in procuring, coordinating and organizing technical equipment for Colorvision International. The parts & equipment associate reports to the Warehouse Manager, with a dotted line to Tech Management/Accounting or other officials with various tasks needed to keep the companys parts and equipment stocked, organized and accounted for, and available for use. Must have working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft applications, particularly Outlook and Excel. Must be able to maintain confidentiality in regards to information received, programs, equipment, Colorvision's proprietary programs and systems, projects for landlords, etc. Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions: Parts & Equipment Track and manage equipment inventory/assets and related processes using the the companys asset tracking software.Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all inventory and assets via the fixed assets database, and related processes.Procurement, purchasing and receiving for all technical equipment.Facilitate logistics of RMA returns and billing process.Work with and maintain positive relationships with vendors and service providers.Effectively communicate with all team members/customers/licensees in a professional manner.Obtain quotes for needed equipment and initiate purchase orders as needed for tech/engineering items/equipment.Proficient in Excel, MS Word, Outlook, etc.Assist in the creation of standard operating procedures and training for this roleMaintain build sheet/cost of goods documentsMaintain consumable parts supply & inventory for technical inventoryPartner with Accounting on procurement scheduling, fixed asset purchases, asset movement reporting, etc.Manage shipment preparations for new installation & upgrade equipment; coordinate with other departments as neededEstablish, coordinate and communicate standard procedures for asset movement, tracking, etc. with all stakeholders/department managersDeliver/pick up small parts and/or computer peripherals to/from various Colorvision store locations as neededProcess incoming parts and equipment; label and place in designated areaManage and coordinate the annual technical equipment inventory processMaintain multiple drop-off floor spaces, shelves, designated parts room/warehouse areas, and other assigned department areas in an orderly, efficient mannerMaintain a clean and organized work areaAlways keep walkways clear and free of unnecessary items Other Duties Required Perform other duties as assigned. Environmental Demands: Work is performed in an inside office & warehouse environment plus going to locations with outside temperatures as well. Physical Requirements: This job requires standing, bending, twisting, reaching, squatting, sitting for long periods of time, reaching, stooping, twisting, kneeling, lifting numerous items. Manual dexterity; hearing and speaking understandably. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs with weight belt with or without assistance and over 40 lbs. with assistance or equipment. Mental Requirements: This job requires a positive enthusiastic approach, good judgment, ability to work under stress, ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures, reading, performing math functions, hearing and speaking understandably. It also requires the ability to cooperate and work as a team with co-workers. Equipment/Machinery Used: The nature of this work requires the use of a computer, printer, cameras, dollies, computer keyboard, monitors, fax machine, calculator, telephone, credit card machine. Qualifications/Requirements: Must be age 18 or over.Must possess a high school diploma or equivalentMust have previous inventory management/asset tracking experience.Must have valid driver license and be able to drive to various locations for parts/equipment purposes.Basic knowledge/understanding of electronics and technical products that purchased preferred.Previous purchasing experience preferred.Ability to work under pressure of deadlines.Able to work well with several different supervisors.Proven ability to effectively and efficiently manage multiple high priority tasks at a time for various stakeholders.Able to perform tasks proactively with limited supervision.Perform other miscellaneous tasks as needed/assigned.
