IT Ops Tech III, KSHB (Information Technology)
KSHB, the Scripps NBC station in Kansas City, MO is hiring an IT Ops Tech III. The IT Ops Tech III will support installing and maintaining employee equipment and systems, including desktop computers, mobile phones, fax machines, and printers. This role involves configuring, installing, maintaining, and upgrading computer systems hardware and software.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Configure, install, maintain, and upgrade computer systems hardware and software.
Administer and maintain the security of operating systems.
Deploy and provide general support and troubleshooting for mobile phones.
Design, write, and implement backup procedures to restore files or systems.
Provide operational support for the organization's information systems and peripheral equipment, such as application servers, database servers, web servers, desktops, printers, and storage devices.
Perform recovery procedures, schedule and monitor backups, and oversee batch processes.
Support miscellaneous IT tasks, projects, and provide on-call support.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
Associate's degree preferred; High school diploma/GED required.
5+ years of experience
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
Proficient in basic system administration tools and processes
Strong computer networking and organizational skills
Ability to conform to a high-security environment and execute the rules governing Scripps company security and control policies
Capable of working in stressful situations and multi-tasking as necessary
