Position Summary:
The FinOps Engineer performs a critical role in adoption of the FinOps practice within this business line by analyzing cloud spend, identifying potential cost savings, defining follow-up activities, and increasing productivity. Responsible for driving optimization through discovery, development, and sharing of cost-saving opportunities e.g., translating financial insights into actionable recommendations. This role will partner with key stakeholders throughout the FRFS to help understand their cloud usage patterns, identify cost drivers, and assist them in implementing strategies to enhance cost efficiency. As a key contributor to the Cloud transformation journey, this role will be vital to bridge the gap between finance, operations, engineering, and product who will be leveraging Cloud technology.
Key Responsibilities:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, IT, or analytics preferred or equivalent experience
Experience: 4+ year's experience in a public cloud environment preferably in Cloud FinOps/Cloud Spend optimization
