Operations Intern - Bindery (Finance)

Starting Rate: $ 20.00 per hour

Work Hours: Part time, up to 40 hours on Day shift

Location: South Plant at 600 State Road 32 West, Crawfordsville, IN 47933.

As a Manufacturing Intern, you will:

• Assist Supervisors on implementing continuous improvement initiatives
• Focus on manufacturing related projects
• Work with operations to learn the core process of making a book
• Participate in troubleshooting and problem solving
• Maintain consistent application of all policies and procedures
• Monitor production to ensure that quality, productivity standards are maintained
• Report out on project results

Qualifications:

• Comfortable using the Google platform - Gmail; Google drive; Google folders for collaboration
• Strong PC skills - MS Word; Power Point; Excel
• Open mind - able to share new ideas
• Positive attitude and eager to learn
• Strong organizational skills and ability to follow direction required.
• Project and task management skills preferred.
• Business Management, or Engineering degree student preferred.
