Technical Services Engineer (Sales)
KELTEK has an immediate opportunity for a motivated and independent Technical Services Engineer to join our team!
In this role, you will support customers with mission-critical installations and repairs, provide pre-sale and reactive support to ensure customer satisfaction, assist the Sales and Service teams, and manage technology upgrades and installations.
You will receive comprehensive training from industry leaders like Panasonic, Cradlepoint, Symtech, i-PRO, and Whelen, along with in-house training from some of Iowas top Emergency Vehicle Upfitters. Your primary goal will be to keep our First Responders connected and operating safely.

Earn between $45,000 and $55,000 annually, based on your experience!

Job Responsibilities (not limited to):
Serves as subject matter expert for all technology products offered by Keltek, including mobile devices, wireless routers, and other mobile computing solutions Functions as customer-facing deployment manager, including resolving any issues prohibiting project completion Acts as primary contact for technical service tickets Takes ownership of customer issues reported and sees problems through to resolution Responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving customer connectivity and system issues Follows standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate resource Promotes company culture and work environment Maintains regular attendance and punctuality according to assigned schedule Other duties as needed or required
Job requirements:
Associates degree in a relevant technical field, or four years of related experience and/or training, or a combination of education and experience equivalent to these qualifications Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical terms using simple language Strong understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, video/data migration, and a quick ability to learn new technology Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues Ability to build rapport with clients, employees, and vendors Organizational and time management abilities required to manage multiple systems and projects with minimal supervision Overnight travel occasionally with regular travel 3-4 days per week to customers required (must be able to work remotely and on the road Must have a valid drivers license and be insurable
