IT Support Specialist (Information Technology)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Project a positive and professional image while working with staffDemonstrated effective oral, written and listening communication skills.Demonstrated effective organizational skills to manage multiple and shifting tasks/demands to meet timely deadlines.Ability to think critically and solve problems.Must have experience supporting Windows 7, 10 and Microsoft OfficeAssist with all Help Desk issuesAssists with configuration and set up computer systems and ensures that all systems are available for use;Identifies and communicates potential problems to the MIS/IT Director and helps to develop solutions;Assists with daily system backups and maintenance of contingency plan to ensure continuity of operations in the event of unexpected interruptions in computer operations;Establishes email accounts and assigns user access and passwords to ensure that only authorized staff can access the financial, personnel, payroll, computer, and online records of the organization;Self-starter with the ability to work independently with limited supervisionMaintains professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops; reviewing professional publications; and/or establishing relationships;Prepares and reviews system logs pertaining to employee computer usage and system failure and reports any problems to the MIS Operations ManagerAssists with the development of electronic form templates;Performs any other necessary duties to meet operational, fiscal goals and expectations.
