Senior TMS Configuration Analyst - Remote (Finance)

JOB SUMMARY
Provide administrative and company technical support for the MercuryGate TMS. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide configuration solutions for the various MODE Global product lines (OTR, LTL, IM). Position will be required to provide repeatable solutions thorough implementation of standard configuration and workflows for each customer (IBO) based on set of business requirements. Troubleshoot and resolve system problems to assist operations in satisfying customer needs. Assist in configuration, testing and deployment of software releases, ensuring all releases are deployed to production with no defects.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Provide solutions to new and existing business utilizing set of standard TMS system configurations, code tables and dynamic rulesets (workflow)
• Effectively interact and communicate with corporate team and the end customer during implementation / on boarding
• Ability to perform gap analysis / develop business requirements for TMS enhancements
• Support system software upgrades through functionality and regression testing
• Provide assistance to internal users in resolving system functionality/performance issues
• Ability to effectively troubleshoot issues to get to the root cause as well as providing fix
• Support other Mode technology platforms including but not limited to IES (Descartes), 2Ship, MacroPoint, Project 44, Softmodal, and Avasoft BOT development
• MMO Optimization
• EZ-vision installation and operation
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting capabilities
• People skills - the ability to establish effective working relationships across multiple groups (managed transportation operations, support groups, external customers, carriers, and software vendors)
• Communication skills - excellent oral and written communications
• Excellent organizational skills - ability to handle multiple tasks/meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong follow-through to deliver results
• 1-3 years' experience in logistics or transportation industry
• 3 years' work experience with the MercuryGate TMS
