We are hiring a Senior Contracts Administrator responsible for reviewing all new potential contracts and ensuring that Envirocon is honoring its commitments relative to all contract, subcontract and all other agreement and that they support. Senior Contract Administrator works with the Project Management team to provide all contract administration needs in support of each project for all required approvals under the contract. The Senior Contract Administrator is expected to work independently, using their contract experience and judgment to make decisions within their limits of authority.Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
To perform successfully as a Senior Contracts Administrator, an individual must excel in the following areas:
Ability to deal effectively and tactfully with a wide variety of individuals in person, via telephone/virtual meetings and in writing.
Understanding and identifying client requirements and how best to incorporate such requirements into contractual terms so that they are reasonable for both the client and Envirocon.
Ability to work independently and resolve practical problems, keeping all appropriate parties aware of contract issues or risks.
Excellent organizational and time management skills and ability to work well under deadlines, despite interruptions. Accuracy and attention to detail with a strong work ethic are vital to this role.
Ability to write and compose contract language and negotiate terms and conditions of contracts.
Ability to research and resolve contractual issues independently, while recognizing the need to utilize external support when necessary.
Working knowledge and experience with the FAR, to include cost proposal preparation, contract administration, and change management.
Experience in the management and supervision of multiple staff members.
Working knowledge of bonding, insurance and indemnity issues.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat applications.
Education and Experience
Four-year degree required (business or technical). Advanced degree (JD or MBA) a plus.
Minimum of five (5) years contracts related experience and/or training within private sector.
Government contracts related experience and/or training.
Construction and/or environmental contract experience.
Review, analyze, and evaluate contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, teaming agreements, non-disclosure agreements and any other type of agreement required for Envirocon to conduct its business.
Draft proposed contractual language for all types of agreements.
Negotiate contractual terms under all types of agreements as needed within limits of authority.
Ensure compliance with bonding and insurance requirements.
Establish an appropriate level of control and oversight over each project assigned to ensure contractual compliance and administration. This includes notifications, change orders, delays, schedule, claims (project, insurance, third party),legal issues, invoicing/payment and any other issues of a contractual nature (Contract Administration) for multiple projects for contracts and subcontracts.
Identify and report risk related to contracts, subcontracts and all other agreements.
Learn and perform all other duties that fall under the responsibilities of the Contracts Department.
