Infosys Public Services is currently seeking a Sr. Proposal Writer- Public Sector.
Position Description (scope of work or brief narrative):
A Proposal Writer specializes in creating structured, well-organized proposals to win new business or gain support for projects in the Public Sector market. This resource will work closely with various teams within an organization to gather the necessary information for writing compelling proposals. Their duties and responsibilities include:
Understand and interpret proposal instructions and requirements in prospective clients' RFPs.
Conduct extensive research to understand the project or business opportunity in detail
Work closely with subject matter experts to gather necessary information
Write clear, persuasive, and concise proposals
Edit and revise proposals based on feedback
Maintain and manage a library of proposal content for future use
Ensure all deadlines are met and proposals are submitted on time
Coordinate with graphic designers to incorporate necessary visuals in the proposal
Keep updated on public sector industry trends to address potential client concerns or questions effectively
Review and evaluate proposal feedback to improve future submissions
Participate in presentations or discussions with clients when required
Required years of experience, training, technical skills, and other requirements for job performance:
7+ years of experience in developing proposals for the public sector.
Knowledge of IT Services and US/Canada Government RFPs and proposal processes.
Fluent in English and experienced in proposal development and technical writing.
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will consider three years of progressive, relevant work experience instead of every year of education, Candidates that have completed a Master's degree program are strongly preferred.
The job also entails sitting and working at a computer for extended periods. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face-to-face.
