What we offer you! - Competitive compensation - Comprehensive benefit plan (medical, dental, vision and more) - 401(k) retirement savings plan - Paid time off (vacation, holidays, PTO) - Employee discount programs - Career Growth Opportunities Cryogenic Service Technician Responsibilities - Performs a wide variety of skilled mechanic duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and modify mechanical equipment and facilities. - Uses a wide variety of hand, power, and machine tools to perform assignments. - Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical equipment and systems requiring the isolation of the malfunction, disassembly of equipment and repair/replacement of bearings, gears, structural components, etc. - Performs preventive maintenance on equipment and mechanical systems. - Specific responsibilities include: Safely troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all rotating equipment and associated mechanical systems including compressors, pumps, fans, blowers, boiler systems, valves and the ability to perform equipment alignments. - Plan and execute maintenance tasks, and completion of all follow-up documentation. - Complete some repairs of mechanical piping systems including threaded and welded pipe systems. - Complete and document maintenance activities associated with predictive and corrective maintenance activities in a computerize maintenance database. - Other duties as assigned - High School diploma/GED required - 3 - 5 years of equipment maintenance experience in chemical manufacturing setting preferred - Knowledgeable in OSHA Process Safety Management Program elements including Mechanical Integrity, Management of Change, Operating Procedure Elements - Knowledge of welding techniques - Knowledge of high pressure piping systems - Knowledge of cryogenic pumps and systems - Basic Knowledge of electrical troubleshooting and repairs - Computer skills including Microsoft applications Linde is a leading global industrial gases and engineering company with 2024 sales of $33 billion.
