Lecturer, Biology (Finance)
This full-time position will entail teaching 15 contact hours per semester which is typically five classes. The primary responsibilities will include teaching lower-level biology courses for science and non-science majors. Upper-level courses may be assigned based on the individuals' areas of expertise and departmental needs. Applicants should be able to provide educational experiences for UHD's diverse student population. Additional duties include participation in the ongoing program assessment and contributing to the department's overall instructional mission through involvement in curriculum development and programmatic improvement. A lecturer is expected to carry out all basic service duties and may choose to be involved to varying extents (participation, engagement, or leadership) in additional activities beyond their basic duties.
