Assistant Director- Center for Student Empowerment (Finance)
The Assistant Director will collaborate with cross-campus partners to design and implement student success programs, and work closely with students to foster an supportive environment. Experience in event planning, academic advising, and marketing is highly valued, as the role will also involve coordinating workshops, outreach campaigns, and community engagement activities. Familiarity with student development theory and best practices for engaging a myriad of student populations is essential. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic setting.

Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than one professional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly job-related 4 year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed. Preferred: College degree in a Human Service field.ExperienceRequires a minimum of three (3) years of directly job-related experience. Preferred: Bachelor's degree in a human service field with 2 years of experience in the human service field or a Master's degree in a human services field.Certification/Licensing Requires a valid Texas Driver's License. Preferred: Licensed Master or Bachelor's degree in social work.
