Job Duties:

• Greets crew members, flight attendants, and passengers in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Drives/operates catering equipment and vehicles in a safe manner. Loads and unloads aircraft supplies to and from high lift catering trucks. Uses and works from lift equipment to heights at approximately 40 feet to service aircraft.
• Audits and replenishes inventory to ensure there is an adequate supply of items needed to service aircraft.
• Maintains catering log and records in accordance with company procedures.
• Fuels truck and performs daily safety checks in accordance with safety policies and OSHA regulations. Maintains the interior and exterior cleanliness of the catering trucks.
• Ensures catering areas are always kept organized and clean.
• Ships and receives supply orders; restocks inventory daily.
• Wash dishes and equipment as required.
• Performs other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill and experience capabilities expected for this position.

Qualifications:

• Must be a local (in-state) resident.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Valid In-State Driver's License.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Ability to pass up to a 10-year background check.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have the authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
• Must complete ramp and SIDA training to obtain airport authority identification security.
• Experience driving box truck and/or ramp experience preferred

Physical requirements:

• Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull, and move items of 70 pounds and/or more on a regular basis and repetitively lift weights of 40 to 50 pounds on raised surfaces.
• Must be able to walk, climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop on a frequent basis and for extended periods.

Working conditions:

• Must be able to work in rotating shifts and hours, nights, weekends and holidays, overtime.
• Must be able and open to work in outside weather conditions which may include severe seasonal elements.
