Stormwater Design Engineer (Finance)
The Southeast region of the Water division provides services in Georgia, Florida and other areas in the southeastern U.S. Supporting several state and municipal clients within this region, as well as multiple federal agencies, the Southeast team has completed some of the most technically challenging projects in the region and beyond, including:
• Supporting a number of initiatives to encourage "smart" stormwater design for critical environmental, regulatory, and community benefits for Gwinnett County, Georgia, including flood and water supply resiliency. Key support includes development of the stormwater manual and BMP monitoring guidance, ordinance review/revision, BMP construction inspection training, and design of high-profile demonstration projects.
• Leading water resources engineering design and permitting efforts to develop innovative stormwater treatment projects for multiple counties in Florida. Efforts include developing countywide stormwater master plans, developing models to identify current and future flooding locations, developing engineering designs, construction plans and specifications, permit applications, and more.
• Low impact design for green infrastructure projects and development of watershed management plans in conjunction with on-call stormwater services for several municipalities in Georgia, Florida and more.
To support our continued success as a leader in water resources management for our clients, we have an immediate opportunity for a Stormwater Design Engineer to join the Southeast team. For this role, we are open to hybrid work schedules in our Atlanta, GA, Cocoa, FL, or Jacksonville, FL offices, or remote work schedules within the southeast United States region.
