The Doe Run Company is currently seeking a Strategic Sourcing Analyst who will be responsible for participating and supporting the design and implementation of strategic sourcing process by partnering with users to define specifications and requirements, leading conducting internal and external data analysis, and providing recommendations based on analysis. This position is located at our Central Office in Viburnum, MO.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience working in a purchasing environment as a Buyer or Sourcing Analyst.
- Valid driver's license.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Financial Software , Access (database), and Tableau (analytics).
- Knowledge of strategic sourcing best practice.
- Proficient analytical skills to support and enhance procurement strategy and goals.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to travel 20%-30%.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze data from the ERP system to generate RFI's, RFQ's and RFP's.
- Responsible for contract negotiations including the terms and conditions in contracts and ensure compliance with the terms and conditions, as well as documenting and agreeing on any changes or amendments that may arise during its implementation or execution.
- Conduct sourcing events for capital projects, stock items and direct items for all of Doe Run.
- Establish new suppliers and develop existing supplier relationships through monthly meetings and on-site visits.
- Complete tasks in a safe and environmentally compliant manner by following EHS (environmental, health and safety) policies, procedures and best practices; support and assist peers in working in a safe, compliant manner; report unsafe acts or conditions, incidents, and deviations; and provide feedback to support continuous improvement in EHS performance.
- Other duties or projects as assigned.
Tools Utilized, Environmental Conditions, Physical & Lifting Requirements:
- Regularly uses computer and telephone.
- Quiet office environment.
- Regularly sitting, talking, hearing and repetitive wrist and/or finger movement. Occasionally standing, walking and driving. Requires clarity of vision at 20 inches or less and 20 feet or more. Concentrated attention.
- Occasionally required to lift up to 5 pounds.
