Security Officer (Finance)
Guards and monitors company grounds to prevent theft, violence, or other loss of company property. Job Duties: Tours premises or monitors grounds via surveillance equipment. Greets and directs visitors, provides temporary visitor IDs, and maintains a visitors log. Responds to security breaches and prepares and files reports describing incidents, accidents, or intruders. Incumbents in this position may or may not be required to hold a valid firearms license and carry a firearm while on duty. Experience and Education: Performs work under direct supervision. Handles basic issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff. Possesses beginning to working knowledge of subject matter. Typically requires a high school diploma, and 0 to 2 years of experience. Reports to: Typically reports to a manager or supervisor. Competencies: Decision-making skills. Problem/situation analysis. Attentiveness. Judgement. Physical stamina. Vision. Dexterity.
