Warehouseperson II - Crosby, Texas (Finance)
Crosby Yard. The employee will participate in key warehousing activities including material identification, receiving, labeling, binning and issuing. Additionally, the position will maintain an accurate warehousing management system, assist with cycle counts, and assist with reports as required. The employee will work safely, keep the warehouse clean and organized, and ensure adherence to company policy and procedures.
Additionally, the position will perform an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filing orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES
• Reviews and identifies materials on incoming shipments, unloading trucks and checking in.
• Inspects and verifies condition of material.
• Sorts materials by category.
• Labels materials and organizes them in designated bin locations.
• Ensures that warehouse transactions (e.g. receiving, issuing, transfers and requisitions) are completed timely and accurately.
• Performs cycle counts on an ongoing basis.
• Efficiently handles and resolves OS&D shipments.
• Maintains required records and documents.
• Reports any discrepancies.
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations neat; organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.
• Wear proper safety equipment.
• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship).

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least 2-4 years of experience.
• Must be able to establish and maintain a good working relationship with team and all levels of management and employees.
• Self-starter with ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Make decisions that properly reflect company policy.
• Strong oral, written and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated warehousing experience.
• Detail oriented with strict attention to quality.
• Good computer skills, specifically Excel, Outlook and warehouse management software.
• Strong knowledge of oil and gas equipment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• 5 years' warehousing work experience.
• Pallet truck and forklift operations certification
